YouTuber Davey Wavey interviewed a gay mermaid, and we've never been more jealous.

Popular gay YouTuber Davey Wavey took a trip to Atlanta, Georgia recently to meet and interview a black gay mermaid who goes by the name Blix and (as expected), the entire experience looked completely and totally fabulous.
"I eat, sleep, breathe, and shit mermaids," Blix said in Davey's aquatic-themed video where we get to see a behind-the-scenes look at how mermaid tails are made.
"Being a mermaid has taught me to just be free, not to care what anyone thinks," Blix continued. "Be like the ocean. Just be free. Follow your own current. Love yourself. No matter what anybody says, if you want to wear a tail, put on a tail and be a mer."
So the next time anyone tries to tell you that queer mermaids of color don't exist, just show them the video below.
