28 Gorgeous Pics of Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Being Affectionate Through the Years

They've been open and affectionate with each other going back 10 years to when it was so much less accepted.

Earlier this month Ellen DeGeneres delivered a heartrending speech to the crowd at the Teen Choice Awards, where she was named "Choice Comedian." Ellen's speech encouraging young people to be 'proud of being different' and proud of who they are, was definitely a tearjerker, but there was another super-sweet moment that occurred just before the speech when her wife Portia de Rossi leaned over and gave her a congratulatory kiss. And not just an obligatory congratulatory kiss, but a real one. It got us thinking that for 10 years now Ellen and Portia have been crushing it out in public, not merely as style icons, but as trailblazers for LGBT visibility in their genuine affection for one another. We combed hundreds of photos of the pair (a difficult job) to bring you these 28 photos of their affection through the years.
