Currently, many of us might recognize Hayley Kiyoko as Girls United housemate 'Gabi' on The Fosters. She's also been featured on Disney Channel shows like Wizards of Waverly Place and starred in the Disney Channel Original Move Lemonade Mouth as a badass guitarist rocker chick. Well, it turns out in reality Hayley's an even more badass rocker chick, and the video for her new song Girls Like Girls is taking us by surprise with its level of total awesomeness. The 5 minute video (directed by Kiyoko and Austin S. Winchell) follows a young girl, played by Kiyoko's adorable Jem and the Holograms co-star Stefanie Scott, who's crushing on her friend, played by Kelsey Chow. However, her friend has a boyfriend and he's less than pleased to find out what's maybe going on between the girls. What ensues is pretty frightening, but everything comes to a satisfying conclusion that will leave you feeling as fuzzy inside as you were frightened moments before when a lot of scary stuff was going down. The song itself, off Kiyoko's EP This Side of Paradise, is quite catchy and definitely deserves a spot on our Summertime Anthem playlist. And all right in time for Pride too! Now watch and fall love:
And we decided to gif this moment just because we can.
Seriously, is it okay if our favorite couple of the summer is from this music video?
