The LGBT members of the U.S military have been able to live their lives openly since 2011 when Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was repealed, and since the Defense of Marriage Act was overturned in 2013, they have been able to enjoy the equal benefits and opportunities of being in the military with their spouses. Lisa Rucker is a specialist in the United States Army, and she and her wife Massy first met in 2012. They offer an intimate look into their lives and talk about what’s it’s been like to be lesbian army wives.
