For those of you who don’t know Shay, she got her big break when she was on America’s Got Talent in 2011. Shay made it to the top 48 on the show and it was her introduction to nation-wide recognition, according to IMDB. She went on to appear on The Glee Project.
Shay used her time on AGT to start Be More Heroic, an anti-bullying campaign. “Be More Heroic is a pro-compassion movement dedicated to inspiring individuals and communities to evoke positive and courageous action,” reads the mission statement.
