8 Times These Funny Women Made Us Laugh Like Hell in 2013

These women made us laugh our asses off in 2013.

It was a good year to be a woman in comedy. From huge moments like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting the Golden Globes to more heartfelt moments like Tig Notaro using humor to take on breast cancer. Then there was that awkward moment when Sarah Silverman confronted her ex-boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel about their past. There were so many moments that made us laugh this year that is was difficult to narrow it down.

Watch our favorite moments in female comedy from 2013 and feel free to add your own in the comments.

Kate McKinnon teams up with Kristen Wiig in this 1-800 Flowers commercial

Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon weren't in enough sketches together when Wiig came back this season to host SNL. This commercial parody is the best thing about the episode. As wacky as Wiig can be, it's fun to watch her take a more subtle approach in comparison to McKinnon, who plays her annoying mother.

When all of the ladies of SNL started taking better care of their lady parts

The ladies in the cast of Saturday Night Live partner up to talk about seasonal feminine care.

That time there were two Ellens

The only thing better than one Ellen DeGeneres is two. Kate McKinnon showed off her spot on impression when the two met for the first time on Ellen's show. It's hard to tell them apart.

Tig Notaro taught us all how to totally live in the moment

On July 30, 2012, comedian Tig Notaro announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Four days later, she spoke candidly about the experience at a performance in Los Angeles. The performance has been lauded by several comedians, including Louie C.K., as a "masterful stand up set." The performance was later turned into a live album called Live. The hilarious clip of Notaro appearing as a guest on Conan is a perfect example of what makes her so brilliant.

When Amy Schumer used Tig's cancer as an excuse to get out of work

Tig Notaro is currently a writer for one of the best sketch comedy shows on television, Inside Amy Schumer. This scene where Schumer pretends to be too grief stricken over Notaro's cancer to keep her work commitments, is the highlight of the show's first season.

Portlandia banned "gayish" straight weddings

Gay weddings are banned in Portlandia, even straight weddings with too much choreography.

When Sarah Silverman made her break up with Jimmy Kimmel super awkward

To plug her new HBO special called We Are Miracles, Sarah Silverman had to make the talk show rounds. What she did on her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's show was amazing.

When comedian Janine Brito out Tracied Tracy Morgan

Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell was cancelled in November due to a decline in ratings from being moved from the FX Channel to FXX. It's a shame because its radically liberal and ethnically diverse cast was a refreshing change of pace to the late-night talk show landscape. Watch below as comedian Janine Brito does a better Tracy Morgan impression than Tracy Morgan.

When Tina and Amy crashed the Emmy's

One of the most memorable moments of the star studded night was when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler showed up to give Neil Patrick Harris some important advice. "Take your pants off!"

And bonus points for being the best Golden Globe hosts of all time (even though Ricky Gervais was the only other host)
