Elon Musk might wish he was going viral on his own social media platform because of his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but right now everyone is too focused on his “Hitler” haircut.
Photos of Musk sporting hair that is closely shaved on the sides with an oddly shaped mass of hair on top are being circulated on X (formerly Twitter), with people comparing his new haircut to that of fascist dictators like Adolph Hitler and Kim Jong-un.
The comparisons make sense considering that Musk did a Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration celebration, but the photos were actually originally from December 2021, long before he made the Hitler-esque hand gesture and started taking over the U.S. government, the Daily Dotreports.
The photos may have inspired derision back in 2021, but now people on X are reading Musk for filth. From someone joking that the Tesla billionaire asked his barber for the “sieg heil and tight” to someone quipping that Musk is showing off his “Hitler youth” style to people laughing that his “barber hates him too,” the reads will have you cracking up.
