RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is coming back for a second season!
In 2020, the Drag Race franchise launched a brand-new spin-off series called RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race. During the inaugural season, which consisted of only four episodes, the show featured four different sets of celebrity contestants undergoing a drag makeover. Those celebs got the full Drag Race experience by being in the werkroom, interacting with the queens, and performing on the mainstage for RuPaul and the panel of judges.
The trailer for the second season has just dropped, and it turns out that it’s the show itself that’s getting the biggest makeover in its sophmore season. This time around, Celebrity Drag Race will have a similar format to The Masked Singer. The famous contestants will perform week after week and their out-of-drag identities will be revealed over time.
Season two will also include three main Queen Supreme Mentors and feature six Drag Race legends as extra special guests. Togetether these queens will be assisting the contestants, mentoring them, and also providing commentary for the series.
