Murray Bartlett Whips Out His Short Shorts for This New Fit Role
Things are getting Physical!
Murray Bartlett has a new role, and there’s only one thing we really need to know about it: short shorts.
The White Lotus star is moving on over to Apple TV+ for season two of the Rose Byrne-led dark comedy, Physical. The show centers around Sheila Rubin (Byrne) and her burgeoning attempt to build a career in fitness videos, a staple of the 1980s where the show is set.
Season one saw her make strides away from being an unhappy housewife and successfully launching her first video, and season two is expected to show her struggle to carve out and maintain a place for herself in that industry.
Bartlett is coming on board to play Vincent “Vinnie” Green, described as “a charismatic fitness instructor, weight-loss guru, and pioneer of the late-night infomercial.
In other words, anyone who had their male-centric sexual awakening in the 1980s is about to be smacked in the face with a whole lotta nostalgia — and bare legs.

Like the first run, season two will go for ten episodes and drop weekly on Apple TV+. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer as it isn’t scheduled to premiere until June 3. But in the meantime, you can always revisit season one in preparation.
