Marvel Confirms Loki Is Genderfluid in New Trailer

The upcoming Disney+ series blessed attentive fans with an easter egg.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made Loki's genderfluidity cannon just ahead of Wednesday's premiere of the new Disney+ series!

Picking up after his disappearance in Avengers: Endgame, a new trailer shows Loki in captivity. A case file on the God of Mischief lists his sex as "FLUID."

Loki is a shapeshifter in Norse myth and the Marvel comics. His genderfluidity was confirmed in 2013 in the comics, but this is the MCU's first acknowledgment. Fans are hoping this means we might see other iterations of Loki in the series, particularly Lady Loki.
