He then proceeded to challenge pop icon and judge Katy Perry to a catwalk battle.

Some things just need to be seen to be believed — like this um...truly wild audition that recently aired on this current season of long-running reality singing competition American Idol for example...

Performing an original song in the hopes of making it to Hollywood, ripped model Mario Adrion decided to spice things up in his AI audition for judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie by wearing nothing but a red-and-white stripped speedo. (Try not to poke an eye out.)

The lyrics of Mario's original song revealed that the 26-year-old German transplant came to the U.S. to model for fashion week, but he is now trying to follow his dreams and pursue a singing career. Unfortunately, as you can tell from the looks on the judges' faces when they heard Mario belt out his self-written, self-proclaimed bop, he might be getting his hopes up a little too high...

He may not be the next Justin Bieber or Shawn Mendes, but Mario's audition was entertaining as hell to watch, especially when he started bouncing his pecs for Katy, which then resulted in the two battling head-to-head in a runway battle/walk-off. Mario may be a professional model, but the way Ms. Perry ate him up is something only the best pop legends can do!
