Time to tune in to Paramount+ for season two!
In case you weren’t already thrilled about the iCarly revival that started airing this summer, it was just revealed that season two would feature some RuPaul’s Drag Race faves.
Scarlet Envy, Monique Heart, Rosé, and Kandy Muse are all slated to appear in upcoming episodes of the Paramount+ show, according to an official video announcement.
“‘Kay y’all, guess what we are filming this week?” Kandy asked. “Ooh baby that is…iCarly!”
The announcement came straight from set and featured all four queens hyping up the show — and it wasn’t the only one, either.
Fans were treated to an additional promo encouraging viewers, “Don’t miss it!”

The original Nickelodeon run of iCarly was a fave of young millennials and older zoomers, airing from 2007 to 2012 and starring Miranda Cosgrove as a vlogger who has to learn to balance her newfound internet stardom with her normal life, alongside her best friends.
Everything that ends seems to come back around again, so Paramount+ revived a version of the show that features the eponymous vlogger reviving HER show, and season two is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
The series already received bigoted backlash after it cast Laci Mosley, who is Black and bisexual, as Carly’s new roommate, who is also queer in the show. So it isn’t surprising that bringing drag queens onto the series, even presumably for just a guest appearance, is being met with mixed reactions as well.
Fortunately, the queens come with their own fan bases and they’re ready to jump on board the nostalgia train alongside the pro-drag iCarly fans and check out this colorful collab.

One thing is for sure — if iCarly is giving us this kind of fabulousness in season two, they better be ready to up their game if and when season three rolls around as well!
