It's been a while since we've heard any updates about one of our fave shows of all time, American Horror Story, and now that it's about to be Spooky Season soon, it's only fitting that we get some kind of confirmation (kinda) about the popular horror anthology's forthcoming 10th season. And who else better to deliver that confirmation to us than Emmy-winning actress, longtime Ryan Murphy muse, and our beloved supreme Sarah Paulson!
In a recent YouTube video for Harper's Bazaar, Sarah responds to some of the internet's best fan theories about her latest, queer AF Netflix series Ratched and, of course, AHS. When someone asks if whether or not it's going to be about aliens and Area 51 (a theme that has yet to be fully explored in a dedicated AHS season), Sarah says nothing and simply smirks to the camera.
"Everyone’s going to think that’s me confirming it," Sarah then says cheekily, knowing how quickly internet stans latch onto any little bit of info when it comes to their fave shows. "I just think it’s possible, how about that? I think that is possible."
While it wasn't a 100 percent confirmation, it's definitely more than we've gotten over the past few weeks thanks to production shutdowns caused by the ongoing global pandemic. The last we heard about anything AHS related, we were getting some teaser posts from Ryan Murphy's Instagram and a confirmation of the returning castmembers for AHS10.
Aliens or not, we're just glad AHS is going to be back on our TV screens in the future. (Probably not the near future, but whatever, we'll take what we can get!)
