The Umbrella Academy Cast Announces Season 2 Premiere Date in Teaser
Ellen Page and more celebrate the announcement from their homes in a new teaser trailer!
After a fifteen-month hiatus, the superpowered kids of The Umbrella Academy are finally heading back to our small screens!
Based on the comics of the same name, the first season followed a retired team of superhero protegees who reconvene to unearth the mystery of their father's death—and stop the apocalypse. Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige starred in the series.
In the new teaser, a few of the stars dance in their living rooms in excitement for the new season.
"On October 1, 1989, seven extraordinary humans were born," the new description reads. "On July 31, 2020 they return. Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy streams July 31, only on Netflix."
