The One Day at a Time Season 4 Trailer Is Just What We Needed!
The Alvarez family returns to our TV next week.
Great news, folks! We are literally days away from the One Day at a Time season premiere on Pop TV, and a new trailer has arrived just in time to get us SO FREAKIN’ PSYCHED.
It looks like business as usual in the Alvarez family. The trailer shows Lydia trying to set Penelope up on dates (“I made you a profile of Tinder!”), Elena annoying the hell out of her abuelita (“I want to talk to you about the female orgasm.”), and, as always, nobody having any boundaries in this family whatsoever. Which, of course, is part of why we love them.
The fourth season will mark One Day at a Time’s official jump to Pop TV, after Netflix declined to renew the beloved series after season 3. While it looked for awhile as though it might be over for our queer-friendly Echo Park fam, Pop TV swooped in at the eleventh hour and saved the day.
“WE'RE BACK!
Thanks to every fan who made #saveodaat trend worldwide, ONE DAY AT A TIME is heading to POP TV & we couldn't be more excited! We have many more stories to tell about & we can't wait to share them with you! Thank you @sptv & @PopTV! #moreodaat https://t.co/4grfsn9RA3”— ♥ Gloria Calderón Kellett ♥ (@♥ Gloria Calderón Kellett ♥) 1561667767
And we already know that the show takes an amazing swipe at Netflix for the snub in the season opener.

But we’ll have to wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for us — though the wait is almost over. The new season of One Day at a Time premieres on Pop TV on March 24th! Welcome back, Alvarezes. We have missed you so.
