Five years after its thrilling 2-hour conclusion, Netflix's one-of-a-kind sci-fi series Sense8 (created by The Wachowski sisters) is still beloved for its enticing plot, a groundbreaking array of LGBTQ+ characters, and of course – those scandalous sex scenes.

In its brief two seasons (and movie special), it racked up more than a handful of steamy moments that get us hot and bothered. So of course, our first thought was to rank them!

Turn on: It sounds like they're having fun, I guess.

Turn off: When you annoy Riley, you annoy us all. Also, who even are they?

14. E1.2 - Wolfgang hooks up with some rando

Turn on: Lucky girl! Wolfgang has a fair share of his own sex scenes in the series and you can tell he knows how to put it down. 

Turn off: It's not with Kala. But Wolfgang does say he's craving Indian food after...

13. E2.1 - Young Sun and Mun relieve stress in the locker room

Turn on: After Sun loses a fight to Mun, the two's pheromones take over in the locker room. Sun takes control of the situation and rides Mun so well that he still hasn't forgotten it years later...

Turn off: It's a flashback. Also the scene feels a bit awkward, but maybe that's just because they're young.

Turn on: Dead guy's hand placement! The composition of the shot! That head thrown back in euphoria! A+ all around.

Turn off: Another flashback. The scene is also interspersed with the dead guy's really sad dad reminiscing about his son. It ends up reading as more comedic than arousing.

Turn on: Okay I know this isn't actually a sex scene, BUT LOOK HOW SWEATY THEY ARE. After they get the blood flowing in combat, Sun and Mun's reunion inevitably ended with a passionate kiss. Sun knocking Detective Mun unconscious with a side-kick seconds after this adds to the erotic factor.

Turn off: Honestly, they should've hooked up right there in the cemetery.

Turn on: Wolfgang flusters Kala by hooking up with another random girl in front of her and honestly we're just as hot and bothered.

Turn off: It's not Kala. The scene ends up playing more comedic than sexy, especially at the end of the scene when Kala causes her husband to sprain his dick.

9. E2.10 - Lito and Hernando strip while the sun's setting on the beach

Turn on: Once again this is not an actual sex scene (last one, we swear), but this moment of bliss between Lito and Hernando is too beautiful and romantic to skip. We also like to imagine the two men have gritty beach sex when the camera pans away.

Turn off: They should've had gritty beach sex on camera. Also, all that sand in your cracks sounds...unpleasant.

8. E1.9 - Lito blows Hernando in a museum restroom

Turn on: After refusing to come out to the world as gay to protect his career, Lito and Hernando break up for a moment in season 1. In episode nine, Lito reminisces about their first hook up in the bathroom of a museum, and it is...steamy. He goes as far as calling the moment a religious experience, saying "I took him into my mouth like a holy communion." Whew! Is it hot in here or is it just us?

Turn off: Bathroom floors are not exactly sanitary. And public sex isn't everybody's thing.

Turn on: Two seasons of build-up gave us the tender moment between Kala and Wolfgang we were desperate for. After breaking it off with her husband, Kala allows herself to give in to Wolfgang and loses her corporeal virginity to him. They even have sex underwater! I don't exactly know what sensate power allows them to hold their breath for that long, but it sounds hot and looks beautiful, nonetheless.

Turn offs: Not exactly a turn-off, but it seems like the actress, Tina Desai, isn't comfortable with on-screen nudity. Obviously, that's her choice, but the scene feels a bit awkward in moments. Otherwise, my perfect angels are perfect. 

6. E1.10 - Nomi and Amanita Have Metaphorical Sex

Turn ons: The chemistry between Nomi and Amanita is off the charts and this moonlit scene beneath the Fourth of July stars is no different. The two women get hot and heavy, fireworks go off in the distance, and it's oh-so-romantic.

Turn offs: When they come together, Amanita says, "Now That's What I Call Fireworks." Out loud. Cringe.
