As dramatic (and sometimes even messy) as it was, Ryan Murphy's iconic TV show Glee will always hold a special place in our hearts. The musical, high school comedy (which ran on FOX from 2009-2015) was inclusive AF and was the first time many queer people (myself included) saw themselves portrayed in any kind of positive way on-screen.
One of the standout moments from the entire series was during the sixth episode of the second season (entitled "Never Been Kissed"), when Emmy-winning actor and singer Darren Criss made his debut on the show as Blaine Anderson, the lead singer of New Directions' rival musical group the Dalton Academy Warblers.
In one of his first moments on the show, Blaine introduced his future husband Kurt (Chris Colfer) to the Warblers by singing a now-iconic cover of Katy Perry's smash hit "Teenage Dream," and for many gay boys growing up in the closet, just the idea of a boy singing a romantic pop love song to another boy was enough to make you teary-eyed and want to stan forever!

"Never Been Kissed" premiered exactly ten years ago today, on November 9, 2010, and although the world has changed A LOT in those ten years, it was still an unforgettable moment for many Gleeks, and Darren Criss himself took some time to commemorate the occasion on his Twitter account!
"Hey Gleeks, I saved the date," Criss wrote, quote-tweeting a Tweet he penned back in 2010 when he announced that he was going to be on Glee in the first place. "It's been 10 years."
If only for a few minutes, let's forget all of our troubles, pretend like it's 2010, and relive our gay AF "Teenage Dream" all over again!
