Patti Lupone Joins the Cast of FX's 'POSE' Season 2!

Christmas has come early in the form of Patti LuPone, who has officially signed on to the second season of Ryan Murphy's POSE!

News of the Broadway veteran's addition to the cast was dropped by none other than Murphy himself during the show's panel event at this year's PaleyFest last weekend.

"[LuPone] loves the show and we wrote this part, so she's coming to play with us in a couple of weeks," said Murphy, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Stirring buzz and excitement from both the cast and audience, we can expect some truly meaty scenes of drama and gaggery between LuPone and POSE's Billy Porter.

While details are scarce on the role that LuPone will play, Murphy has revealed a slight time jump, taking the show out of the '80s, and into the '90s - diving head first by setting the first episode on the release day of Madonna's 'Vogue.'

But don't cry Argentina, POSE season 2 is coming sooner than you think - dropping this coming June, just in time for Pride month festivities!
