The Final Trailer for 'Schitt's Creek' Has Us Ugly Crying

It's been a great journey.

Pack your bags, motel guests. The final trailer for the final season of Schitt’s Creek is finally, finally here.

We’ve gotten two teaser trailers already, but this full version gives us further insight into what the Rose family & friends will be dealing with in the last season of our beloved show.

David and Patrick are gearing up for their wedding, Johnny and Stevie are growing the motel business (and employing Moira to help them film a commercial because some prayers ARE answered), and Alexis is still trying to find her place, whether that’s in Schitt’s Creek or not. And as an added bonus, it looks like Jocelyn is trying her hand at novel writing.

We might be ready for the laughs (“I once dated someone who left me for a stuffed animal,” David admits mid-wedding discussion), but we’ll never be ready for the goodbyes — whether it’s between the show and the viewers or, quite possibly, between the characters themselves as they decide what their lives are leading them to next.

But as Johnny closes out the trailer explaining how important the motel has come to be for his family, he gives us one thing we can all agree on:

“I wouldn’t trade our stay there for anything.”

The sixth and final season of Schitt’s Creek premieres on January 7 on PopTV in the USA, or CBC if you're in Canada.
