The Original Sabrina the Teenage Witch Cast Reacts to Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
"I'm not letting my kids watch this."
Netflix's reimagining of Sabrina Spellman is a decidedly darker, sexier take on the teenage witch that the colorful, zany 90s sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and the streaming service rounded up the original cast members to get their reactions to Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Melissa Joan Hart, Nate Richert (Harvey), Beth Broderick (Aunt Zelda) and Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda) are more than a bit shocked by all the scares and sexy teen drama. "I'm not letting my kids watch this," laughs Hart. Although Rhea points out that the new Salem is much more lifelike than their version, who was basically an “alcoholic rabbit wearing a hairpiece.”
