'Lucifer' Stars Go Undercover as a Gay Couple (and We Wish It Was for Real!)

Things got heated on this week's episode!

FOX's sinfully enjoyable CSI-style adventure Lucifer devoted some serious plot time to it's leading demons turned undercover domestic gay couple on Monday night's episode "'Till Death Do Us Part."

Unfortunately, the ever-charming lord of the underworld (played by Tom Ellis) did not come out of the closet. As it turns out, the neighborhood Lucifer is hunting a killer in, is only renting to couples, leaving our fallen angel to pair up with co-star Pierce (Tom Welling) as a domestic gay couple.

While there are moments in the episode that make gags of the plot's "gayface," and perpetuate the stereotype of queer cattiness, the story as a whole is very enjoyable with much comedy to counter any offense. (Not to mention, Tom Ellis in swimwear does wonders on the eyes!)

Lucifer airs Monday nights on FOX!
