This Disney Cartoon Featured a Same-Sex Kiss on Their Show
Sometimes, just being part of the background is notable enough to deserve recognition.
On Feb. 22, Disney XD's animated series Star vs. the Forces of Evil aired an episode featuring a same-sex kiss during a casual pan of a scene in which Star, the show's titular character, has to process her friend Marco being in a relationship with another girl.
The fleeting moment says quite a bit by hardly saying anything at all. Among the many messages, the most important of all being: You belong here.
