Broad City's Abbi and Ilana Are So Many of Us in Special Inauguration Day Clip

Abbi and Ilana let out a string of expletives like you've never heard just as Trump is sworn in.

So many of us had hoped a miracle, or perhaps any of the actual news about Donald Trump (his ties to Russia, the charges of sexual harassment and assault) would stick, but nope. Today he was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, and people on the left, and basically everyone with a shred of human dignity, are collectively mourning. But don’t worry if today has been difficult, you’re not alone. Broad City’s Abbi and Ilana are having just as rough of an Inauguration Day as you. In this special Inauguration Day clip, they let out a string of expletives about Trump that express so many of our thoughts and feelings.

In the clip, which has a fitting post-apocalyptic feel, Abbi’s (Abbi Jacobson) stuck in an elevator trying to make her way to Ilana (Ilana Glazer) before Trump is sworn in. Alas, she doesn’t make it and they share their rage and grief via Facetime.

Watch the NSFW clip below. It's funny because it's true.
