That Time Emmy Nominee Sarah Paulson Talked to Us About Lesbian TV Crushes and Lady Gaga

As we pull for out actress Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story, The People v. O.J. Simpson) to win the Emmy this Sunday we look back at this very funny, open interview she did for us with her lesbian sister.

So  much has happened for LGBT people and for out actress Sarah Paulson since her lesbian sister Rachel Paulson interviewed her for our sibling site SheWired back in 2009. Sarah, a Broadway fixture at that point, hadn't hit the level of acclaim and fame she currently holds since her outstanding work in American Horror Story, Carol, and The People v. O.J. Simpson, for which she's nominated for an Emmy this weekend for her razor-sharp portrayal of prosecutor Marcia Clark.

In this deeply funny, candid interview with Rachel, Sarah shares details of her childhood crush on a TV character, her famous kiss at the 2005 Tony Awards with then girlfriend Cherry Jones, which essentially outed her, and her love of singing along to Gaga (her current AHS costar) in the car. There's also plenty of sibling teasing going on, which is always fun to watch.
