Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton Returns in SNL's Hysterical Parody of Hiking Sightings

Kate McKinnon proved once again why she's the most Emmy-worthy of them all on Saturday Night Live last night.

Emma Stone may have been hosting the show last night, but Kate McKinnon stole it. In a surprisingly solid episode, Kate came out in full force to bring some of our old favorites, new favorites, and Kellyanne Conway back to our screens in a new Saturday Night Live. The first sketch was more or less just a slice of life, with Alec Baldwin's Trump retweeting with reckless abandon instead of paying attention to his security debriefing while Kate's Kellyanne seems to just try to stay alive. Since Trump hates this sketch, we're thrilled to share it.

But the real political SNL gem came in the form of "The Hunt for Hil," a sketch parodying the recent sightings of Hillary Clinton in the Chappaqua forest. Two paranormal investigators trek out to the woods with their most advanced equipment for one specific purpose: to thank Hillary. Will they thank her? Watch and see:

We certainly hope there's a Shop Rite installment.

The political exploration didn't end there. The "High School Theatre Show" brigade returned (there's so many of these sketches, they're all great) to weigh in on the effects of the election, Standing Rock, and Black Lives Matter in their own, artistically misinformed way. This series of sketches continues to be all-too-real if you've ever been to (or, in my case, participated in) an experimental theater show created by young people who really believe they're making a bold political statement. A statement that includes Kate McKinnon and Emma Stone kissing a lot.

Of course, the world's not all about politics. It's the holiday season, and SNL picked the perfect part of everyone's tragic gift exchange experience to bring to life. "The Christmas Candle" is maybe one of their most fine works of musical art in great part, of course, thanks to Kate McKinnon.

And because you made it this far and clearly enjoy watching Saturday Night Live clips on Youtube the night after, we're also going to include "Wells For Boys," a low-key masterpiece that will quickly reveal itself.

What was your favorite SNL sketch this week?
