Does the name Taylor Barrett ring any bells? No? Well, you're not alone. Taylor's far from being a household name, but she should be on your radar. Taylor is an actress and director who's best known for her hilarious web series Tiny Nuts (available on Hulu).

In addition to being an artist, she's also a small-dog advocate and a proud lesbian, which makes her even more badass. Last year, she went viral with a video on "lesbian voice," and this year, she's slated to star in Dante's Cove Season 4. As if that's not awesome enough, here are five reasons to follow Taylor Barrett!

She breaks down stereotypes
"Do I Sound Like a Lesbian?" is a fantastic video Taylor created for PRIDE, and it obliterates stereotypes. In the video, she hits the streets of West Hollywood to ask strangers to identify the lesbian from a group of women, based solely on the sound of their voice. The video garnered more than 190k views on YouTube and was shared on Cosmopolitan and many other large media outlets.

She's on Dante's Cove Season 4
According to the Kickstarter for Dante's Cove Season 4, Taylor is playing "Beck" in the upcoming season. We don't know much about the storyline, but if Taylor's signed on, you can bet it's going to be fabulous. Taylor seems like a perfect fit for the character. She describes Beck as "a cool lesbian — she's kind of like the mother hen for all the friends."

She has a top-secret new show
We don't know much about her upcoming show, but if Taylor's involved, you can bet it's going to be fantastic. Stay tuned!

Tiny Nuts is hilarious
If you haven't seen Tiny Nuts, it's on Hulu and ridiculously easy to binge in a day. In a nutshell, the show follows recent college grads and best friends, Taylor and Caroline, as they navigate "adult life. Thankfully, they have Walnut, an incredibly wise Chihuahua, to help them stay on track.
