We Finally Have Answers to (Some of) Our Biggest Zoey 101 Questions
Get ready to feel extremely old, fellow millennials. After 10 excruciatingly long years, we finally have an answer to one of this generation's most burning, provocative questions: what did Zoey say on the DVD she left in the time machine at PCA on that fateful episode of that hit mid-2000s teen comedy Zoey 101?
On Friday, the internet was abuzz with middle school nostalgia when Dan Schneider (the creator of Zoey 101 and other iconic Nickelodeon shows like Drake & Josh, All That, and Kenan & Kel) uploaded a video to his YouTube channel of characters Michael & Chase revealing just exactly what Zoey said all those years ago. Within minutes, the hashtag #WhatDidZoeySay was trending all over the world, and every fangirl who loved Zoey 101 back in the day was suddenly hit with all the feels.
According to Zoey's DVD, it looks like Chase's unrequited feelings for her weren't so unrequited after all. The word "soul mate," was even tossed around, making everyone everywhere believe that yes, true love does exist.
The video ends with an evil "to be continued...?" message, and although we now know how Zoey really felt about Chase, now we are left with more questions than ever: Does Zoey still think Chase is her soul mate after 10 years? Will Chase and Zoey FINALLY get together? Can fans be expecting a full Zoey 101 cast reunion in the near future?!?
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see. THE SUSPENSE!
