Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black Are Now Engaged and It's Adorable

British diver Tom Daley and award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black have announced their engagement in a markedly understated and English fashion: as a notice in The Times (the same way Benedict Cumberbatch announced his engagement). 

Daley, 20, and Black, 41, have been together for two years. Shortly before their relationship was made public, Tom Daley came out in a YouTube video that went viral. It was a bold move that sent Tumblr and LGBT admirers everywhere cheering:

Both Daley's and Black's Twitter accounts have made no mention of their recent engagement, although Black posted a picture three days ago from the couple's "perfect Sunday in the park," leaving some to speculate that the proposal happened then.
