The Heart of Free 2 B
Free 2 B was founded by Frank Pupa, whose personal experience in the LGBTQ+ community drove his mission to create a space where people could feel seen, heard, and celebrated. "We wanted to offer something more than just products. We wanted to create a space where people could truly be themselves and find items that resonated with their identity," Pupa explains. The name "Free 2 B" embodies the essence of the brand—freedom to be who you are, unapologetically.

Pupa started Free 2 B after feeling a lack of representation in the marketplace for products that truly reflected the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. "When I couldn’t find the products I was looking for, I decided to create them myself. Our brand is about inclusivity, love, and the celebration of individuality," Pupa says. From apparel and accessories to home goods and greeting cards, Free 2 B offers a wide range of products that cater to people who want to express their authentic selves in meaningful ways. Each item is designed with intention and purpose, always with a focus on celebrating diversity.

Designs that Speak to the Soul
The design philosophy behind Free 2 B is rooted in fun, bold colors, and empowering messages. "Our Pride Halloween Monster Sweatshirt is one of our most popular items. It’s a fun, playful design, but it also has a message of self-love and confidence," Pupa explains. The designs reflect the playful and joyful nature of the LGBTQ+ community, while also embracing deeper messages about acceptance and love. Whether it’s a T-shirt with a bold statement or a whimsical mug, every product tells a story of individuality and empowerment.

"We want people to feel good when they wear our products, but more importantly, we want them to feel like they’re part of something bigger. Every time someone buys a Free 2 B item, they’re not just supporting a brand—they’re supporting a movement that values inclusivity, love, and authenticity," Pupa says. The brand’s impact goes beyond products; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and connection within a community.

Events that Foster Connection
One of the most rewarding aspects of Free 2 B is its focus on creating spaces for people to come together and celebrate their identities. "We do a lot of pop-up shops and Pride events where we get to connect with our customers face-to-face," Pupa shares. These events are an opportunity for Free 2 B to engage directly with its audience and build relationships. "At a recent Pride event, a customer told me that our Love is Love T-shirt helped them feel confident enough to express their true self at a family gathering. Moments like that make everything worth it," Pupa says.

A Vision for Growth
Free 2 B’s future is one of continued growth, collaboration, and impact. "We’re constantly looking for new ways to engage with our community and support LGBTQ+ causes. We’re also expanding our product lines to include more inclusive clothing sizes and sustainable materials," Pupa says. "Our goal is to create a brand that represents the full spectrum of the LGBTQ+ experience, from different cultures to different expressions of gender and sexuality."
