Writer, sexpert and lesbian culture guru Diana Cage is sick of politics this holiday season. So rather, than wax on about the state of the world in relationship to gays, she's opted to focus on something rewarding, like kissing. Cage indulges in the art of the kiss, or at least in the art of how to make it until the morning after.

Southwest Airlines has issues. On the morning of Sept. 26 both Leisha Hailey, actress and musician known for her role as Alice Pieszecki in Showtime’s The L Word, and, her girlfriend/band mate Camila Grey of "Uh Huh Her," boarded Southwest Airlines Flight 2274. Hailey and the band are preparing to launch a 21-city tour to promote breast cancer awareness.

Lip Service follows the lives of six lesbian women living in Glasgow, Scotland. Already being hailed as the “British L Word,” the six-part drama has been described as “a bold new drama in contemporary Glasgow. Lip Service creator, Harriet Braun, says she hopes her latest drama is authentic to lesbian viewers and their lives.  Braun says it was important to her that the main lesbian characters Cat, Frankie, Lou and Tess, played by Laura Fraser, Ruta Gedmintas, Roxanne McKee and Fiona Button respectively, came across as authentic to a lesbian audience. As I nurse my third major hangover of the season, I've been thinking about what I, as a lesbian, could not possibly live without, and in the spirit of the holidays compiled Top 10 Things Every Lesbian Should Be Thankful For. I'm trying to stay as far away from stereotypes as possible so flannels, Birkenstocks, mullets, Tevas, cats, Katherine Moennig, and women's basketball are not on my list. Included are Sarah Waters, South of Nowhere, beer, high heels and Facebook.
