The hit fashion design competition series hosted by Heidi Klum, Project Runway, will  no longer be airing on Bravo after five seasons. Lifetime will begin airing the show's sixth season this summer, after being caught in a legal battle involving NBC Universal, Weinstein, and Lifetime.

A California-based graphic artist and Etsy shop owner refused to create a guestbook cover for two lesbian brides, but only after exchanging several emails and 'praying' about the issue with her pastor, reports Queerty.

A high school student asked Virginia attorney general Ken Cuccinelli about the constitutionality of his letter suggesting that state universities did not have to establish antidiscrimination protections for gays and lesbians at a forum Friday at Liberty University. The attorney general replied that his advice would not be a violation of the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause because "the category of sexual orientation would never have been contemplated by the people who wrote and voted for and passed the 14th Amendment."

A lesbian teenager in a Kansas City suburb is leading a fight against discrimination wherever she finds it — for instance, at a shop that refused to print T-shirts for her school’s gay-straight alliance. The Kansas City Star profiles Bailee Webb (pictured, foreground), 17, president of the GSA at Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Mo. It reports that the GSA members recently agreed on a T-shirt design with the phrase “Why is it that as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?”

Katherine Miller, a sociology student at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Monday filed a request to resign from the academy, citing the antigay attitudes of some classmates and her refusal to hide her sexual orientation. “I intend for my resignation to offer a concrete example of the consequences of a failed law and social policy,” she wrote in her resignation letter, referring to the law against gays serving openly in the military
