Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been spotted out and about sporting Joan Jett’s retro signature black mullet for her role playing Jett in the biopic The Runaways. But now, rumor has it that Stewart and her costar Dakota Fanning, who's playing Cherie Currie, will get into a lesbian love scene in a hotel room for the flick.

With 'The Runaways,' the new film about her life with Joan Jett, pioneering rock star Cherie Currie is enjoying a renaissance ... with a little help from Dakota Fanning. The blond bombshell who made out with Joan Jett, front woman for the rock ’n’ roll band that changed the way women were perceived in music and now author of a book that brings us 'The Runaways.'

Writer and photographer Jenn Kennedy continues to find the gay and lesbian at the Sundance Film Festival. On her second day she met up with The Four-Faced Liar's Marja Lewis Ryan and Emily Peck, spotted Marisa Tomei and John C. Reilly and hit up Joan Jett's The Runaways' show, which boasted special guests Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart.

There's been much ado and hype for the Runaways biopic and now a first look at former child acting prodigy Dakota Fanning doing her best Cherie Curie belting "Cherry Bomb," is out. The Runaways, starring Fanning and first-rate Twilight moper Kristen Stewart as rock sensation Joan Jett is slated for a March 19, limited release and will go wide on April 9.

Democratic Representatives from Wisconsin Gwen Moore and openly gay Rep. Mark Pocan, have proposed legislation that would provide assistance for runaway and homeless LGBT youth.

Besides a werewolf plot the story focuses on the emerging love between Diane ( Juno Temple of St. Trinian’s School for Girls and Dirty Girl and The Dark Knight Rises) and Jack (Riley Keough of The Runaways andMagic Mike and not so incidentally, Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter).

Talk about lesbian connections, Dakota Fanning is playing Runaways member Cherie Currie, who starred in Foxes with Jodie Foster, who played Kristen Stewart’s mother in Panic Room. Oh, the chart just keeps growing and growing doesn’t it?
