Joan Jett told Kristen Stewart to "f*ck" her guitar. Stewart, who plays the lesbian fave Jett, a musician living the gritty rock 'n' roll lifestyle in the upcoming film The Runaways, has revealed Jett's word of wisdom: "Put your pussy to the wood! Fuck your guitar!" The film had its  premiere at the Sundance Film Festival Sunday. Cherie Currie is played by Dakota Fanning.

There's been much ado and hype for the Runaways biopic and now a first look at former child acting prodigy Dakota Fanning doing her best Cherie Curie belting "Cherry Bomb," is out. The Runaways, starring Fanning and first-rate Twilight moper Kristen Stewart as rock sensation Joan Jett is slated for a March 19, limited release and will go wide on April 9.

Rumor has it that Twilight darling Kristen Stewart may be attached to A Taxonomy of Barnacles, a comedy based on Galt Nierderhoffer’s novel, with Jeff Bridges, Anne Hathaway and Maggie Gyllenhaal, directed by Nanette Burstein. Stewart will play Beth Barnacle, a “pot-smoking purple-haired lesbian who suffers the defeat of unrequited love." This would be Stewart's second lesbian role having played Joan Jett in The Runaways.
