Deborah Vial has lived a colorful life. Even if you didn’t know about her performing for troops in combat zones or opening for bands like Concrete Blonde and Chicago, you’d still sense the depth behind her music. Vial just released a video for the single “Angel,” so we chatted with her about music, her relationship with Caron Barrett, and why being closeted isn’t an option.

This week we bade farewell to the gals who’ll go out into the world and live their lives without the eyes of adoring / disapproving fans following their every move – sort of like pushing about a dozen tattooed, pierced baby birds out of a nest.

'Tsuyako' is a film about what happens when an old lesbian lover surprises a now obedient wife and loving mother, Tsuyako, she must choose between her duties as a woman and the promise of freedom, while struggling to maintain the Japanese traditions of culture and respect of her family. 'Tsuyako' is a USC MFA thesis film that will be shooting in Osaka, Japan this Spring.

Inspired by Amelia Earhart, Kelsey Bray is embarking on her own travel adventure. Beginning in October, her new company -- Earhart Adventures -- will begin taking small groups of lesbian and gay travelers, their families and friends on guided vacations to some of the world’s remote and beautiful destinations.
