It’s been out in the ether for some time that Lifetime was working on a reboot of the classic dramedy Steel Magnolias featuring and all African-American cast, and now word is out that Queen Latifah will executive produce and star in the film that features a heavy -hitting cast including Adepero Oduye, star of last year's acclaimed lesbian-themed indie Pariah. The remake stars Latifah as M’Lynn, Alfre Woodard as Ouiser, Phylicia Rashad as Clairee, Jill Scott as Truvee, Oduye as Anelle and Condola Rashad as Shelby.

Razzie Noms Worst in Film: Megan Fox, Lindsay Lohan, Sandra Bullock and Madonna
