Gayle King, the best pal of Oprah Winfrey, announced her support for marriage equality Friday on her radio show, where she summarized her reaction to last week’s DOMA rulings by saying, “I like how you’re thinking in Boston. I like it.” King broke down the rulings from U.S. district court judge Joseph Tauro as meaning that the court believes same-sex couples should be allowed to marry.

Employees of the gay newspaper Southern Voice arrived at the publication's office Monday to find the doors locked and a sign posted saying the magazine was no longer in business. Window Media LLC, based in Washington, D.C., is the country's largest gay and lesbian newspaper publisher. The company also owns the Washington Blade, Genre Magazine, South Florida Blade and a handful of other gay publications.

A lesbian trying to enter Dollywood's Splash Country amusement park was ordered by a host at the front gate to turn her shirt, which said "Marriage Is So Gay," inside out or be denied entrance to the park. Olivier Odom and Jennifer Tipton brought a friend's children to the theme park, but were stopped at the entrance when a gatekeeper saw Odom's shirt. Sales of the shirt raise money and awareness for marriage equality. Dolly Parton has not comment on the incident, but has been a longtime advocate for equality. In a recent interview with the gay newspaper Dallas Voice, she talked about her LGBT fans. "I have always loved my gay fans," she said.
