Olivia Munn, 29, is yet another Hollywood actress voicing her support for gay marriage. Munn, known for mostly bit parts in made for DVD movies, TV shows and a weekly podcast on G4, has been outspoken about her discontent in the way that Obama has handled the controversial issue. 

Gayle King, the best pal of Oprah Winfrey, announced her support for marriage equality Friday on her radio show, where she summarized her reaction to last week’s DOMA rulings by saying, “I like how you’re thinking in Boston. I like it.” King broke down the rulings from U.S. district court judge Joseph Tauro as meaning that the court believes same-sex couples should be allowed to marry.

Employees of the gay newspaper Southern Voice arrived at the publication's office Monday to find the doors locked and a sign posted saying the magazine was no longer in business. Window Media LLC, based in Washington, D.C., is the country's largest gay and lesbian newspaper publisher. The company also owns the Washington Blade, Genre Magazine, South Florida Blade and a handful of other gay publications.

No longer cheering for gay rights from the sidelines but getting down on the field, as she puts it, progressive radio talk-show host Stephanie Miller came out as a lesbian on the air Friday. Miller, 48, who teased fans before her announcement with the tweet "Mama's got something to tell you," has often voiced support for gay causes on the nationally syndicated Stephanie Miller Show.

Out actor Evan Rachel Wood and author Anne Rice, whose son is gay, added their voices to the growing call to drop charges against a lesbian high school senior in Florida who is facing felony sex offender charges for having a consensual relationship with her girlfriend, a high school freshman.

A lesbian trying to enter Dollywood's Splash Country amusement park was ordered by a host at the front gate to turn her shirt, which said "Marriage Is So Gay," inside out or be denied entrance to the park. Olivier Odom and Jennifer Tipton brought a friend's children to the theme park, but were stopped at the entrance when a gatekeeper saw Odom's shirt. Sales of the shirt raise money and awareness for marriage equality. Dolly Parton has not comment on the incident, but has been a longtime advocate for equality. In a recent interview with the gay newspaper Dallas Voice, she talked about her LGBT fans. "I have always loved my gay fans," she said.
