When spooky things start to occur, the family looks to Paulson's character to connect them to the other side.

FX’s creepy new show American Horror Story has been getting a lot of buzz, and now creator Ryan Murphy & Co. have announced that the show is getting a lesbian best friend type of character played by Kathleen Rose Perkins. It’s not surprising that the man who gave us Joely Richardson and Portia de Rossi as a couple on Nip / Tuck and Naya Rivera as a bitch lesbian Cheerio on Glee would add a lesbian character to the roster at American Horror Story, but with so few lez characters on Primetime it’s a welcomed addition.

An eerie promo for FX’s new “psycho-sexual” horror-thriller series from Nip/Tuck & Glee creator Ryan Murphy has us on pins and needles already waiting for the premiere. What we see that we like: an old spooky house, classic horror chiller sounds like children laughing, a sexy time-warped French maid, a glamorous boozing Jessica Lange, and flames. Also in the cast is the epic Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under), Friday Night Lights' Connie Britton and Alexandra Breckenridge (True Blood, Dirt and the D.E.B.S. short).
