Jamie and Jessie Are Not Together, the latest feature film project from Hannah Free director and producer Wendy Jo Carlton, is screening around the country on the LGBT film festival circuit! The lesbian romantic comedy, with original musical numbers, is about two young women whose codependent relationship is fraught with erotic tension. The two friends need to figure out how to grow together or grow apart.

What better way to kick off New York Pride weekend than watching a funny movie about lesbian aliens, under the stars, with more lesbians?! Madeleine Olnek’s geeky comedy ‘Codependent Lesbian Alien Seeks Same’ will be featured at this year’s Rooftop Film Festival in New York on Friday night, June 24.

Best known for her role as a cleaner in Shameless, (UK Channel 4 drama) 35 year old Maxine Peake donned corsets and period clothes to play pioneering 'out' lesbian Anne Lister in 'The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister' screened on UK BBC 2 Monday night. But back to the BBC production... The lovely Maxine portrayed Anne Lister with convincing lesbian charm. There is no doubt will have gained an instant adoring lesbian following. She had her hand up many petticoats and no doubt Queen Victoria would have said, 'We are not amused!'

Taking the age-old lesbian U-Haul joke to the next level, Amy Turner and Kathryn Lounsbery, of lesbian musical improv duo That's What She Said, have reached a new milestone with the debut of their first CD, Girl-on-Girl Music.

The poignant drama Hannah Free, a story about lifelong lesbian love, and the presence of star Sharon Gless drew an appreciative, near-capacity crowd to the Directors Guild Theatre Friday night.
