Artists for decades have been capturing the female body in print, few as wonderfully as the late lesbian photographer Tee A. Corinne, whose labia imagery intertwined women’s private parts with naturescapes that blended the natural world with women’s greatest erotic source. “Lesbians Seeing Lesbians: Building Community in Early Feminist Photography,” Corinne would be pleased with some of the newest coffee table books which look at women, well, differently: some in self pleasure, others are oblivious of the photographers gaze.
