Lady Gaga, fresh off her appearances in Washington at the HRC dinner and the National Equality March as part of her ongoing support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender rights, has announced plans for an upcoming North American tour – called "The Monster Ball." Gaga and Kanye West announced cancellation of their Fame Kills tour without explanation.  Gaga later explained that West would take some time off and she would hit the road with her own tour.
