Justice Mary Yu was appointed to the Washington State Supreme Court Thursday, making her the first openly LGBT, Latina, and Asian-American person to sit on the high court.

The U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Pamela Chen to be the first openly gay, Asian-American person to preside on a federal bench. Chen was approved by a voice vote for a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The online pas de deux between Margaret Cho and Bristol Palin is getting a little nasty. Responding to a recent dig from Margaret Cho, Bristol Palin, dragging lesbians into their feud, fired back at her Dancing With the Stars colleague via a Saturday Facebook post, writing that if the Asian-American comic had a grasp on conservative politics, "she would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.

Miley Cyrus first dimissed the contreversey surrounding a picture of her as simply a "goofy face." But the clear prejiduce and ignorant behavior exhibited in the picture is not being taken lightly by many of Asian descent.  Loud mouthed lovely Margeret Cho responded personally to Miley’s racist photo, expressing her view ever so cleverly in song.
