Lena Waithe Wore a Rainbow Cape to the Met Gala and We're LIVING
It seems like every year, the celebrity lewks at the annual Met Gala in New York City get more and more fabulous and extravagant—and we LOVE every second of it!
This year's theme was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & the Catholic Imagination," and Emmy-winning writer and out actress Lena Waithe took the theme to a whole new level when she decided to attend the festivities decked out in a full-on rainbow cape, a look that seems to be inspired by the vestments worn by Catholic priests during mass.
It was the most glorious (and gayest) thing we've ever seen!
“.@LenaWaithe opted for this incredible cape for tonight’s #MetGala. #MetHeavenlyBodies #LenaWaithe”— The Metropolitan Museum of Art (@The Metropolitan Museum of Art) 1525734789
The only thing we want to know is...where can we get one of our own?
