The 13 Real-Life Struggles of Living in an Apartment With Male Models

They may be hot, but they’re not fun to live with.

The glam world of male modeling isn’t all six packs and smizes. It mostly consists of cohabitating with beautiful — but mostly immature — male models who are put in a stressful situation and forced to compete against each other for financial stability.

Hence, these 13 real-life struggles of living in an international male model apartment.

1. For starters, the size of the apartment itself…

2. There were 6 guys in a tiny, 3-bedroom apartment.

3. Most of the guys had never even lived on their own before, and they were barely out of high school.

4. The dishes were never done.

5. Someone else always ate your food.

6. And the smell was like living in a locker room 24/7.

7. The immaturity was at an all-time high.

8. I mean, why respect your roommate, when your roommate is the person you’re directly competing against in the job market?

9. Everyone took their jobs entirely too seriously.

10. And looked down upon those who would choose education over fashion.

11. Every single guy was the hottest human on the planet, but beauty definitely did not come with brains.

12. Most of the roommates were mildly homophobic (probably because of the fact that they had to act overly heterosexual to offset the gay stereotype of the industry they worked in).

13. But to end on a more optimistic note, my main, everyday struggle was to simply not get caught awkwardly starring.
