The lesbian military couple who won NüVo Condom's contest to receive an all-expenses-paid dream wedding picked up the paperwork to formalize their commitment in New York City today.

Amanda Ortiz and Rachel Murphy won NüVo Condoms' contest earlier this month, and will formally tie the knot at New York City's PrideFest Parade at 3 p.m. on Sunday, according to a press release announcing the ceremony.

"Amanda is the love of my life, I've known this since we met in High School, and am so proud to now call her my wife," said Murphy in the release. "We're thrilled to be a part of such a historic movement in this country and look forward to the recognition of marriage equality across the U.S."

Ortiz and Murphy live in Texas, which doesn't recognize same-sex marriages, but in the wake of Wednesday's Supreme Court rulings striking down the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, once the women are legally married in New York, they'll be eligible for federal tax breaks offered to married couples, as well as military benefits provided to spouses of service members, including joint, on-base housing and joint deployments.

Now take a look at the sheer joy and love on Ortiz and Murphy's faces as they celebrate receiving their marriage license Thursday on the steps of a New York City courthouse, proudly showing off the New York Times headline lauding the landmark victory for marriage equality at the nation's highest court.
