Selena Gomez Wants Everyone to Question Their Sexuality
As if there wasn't enough reason to love singer and former Disney Channel starlet Selena Gomez, the "Good For You" singer recently went on the record in an interview with Pridesource saying how much she loves her LGBT fans and how she thinks everybody, gay or straight, should question their sexualities. When asked about whether or not she has ever questioned her sexuality, Sel had this to say:
"Oh, I think everybody does, no matter who they are. I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it's healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it's important to do that."
*freaks out*
Selena also had a lot of other cool things to say about her LGBT fanbase, and how pesky rumors that she's dating openly bisexual supermodel Cara Delevingne don't phase her.
"My first single was when I was 16 and that went to number one on the dance club charts so that was my introduction. I don't think people really knew me, so I don't know if it was a following necessarily, but once I hit "Love You Like a Love Song" status, that's really when I started realizing it. And it was the best!" she said when asked about when she first realized she had a gay following. "My concerts used to be little kids, and then seeing the entire front row being all these guys who were wearing neon T-shirts and just losing their minds — it's incredible. And then you see the jocks in the other corner throwing their boxers on stage. It's like, Oh gosh. It's amazing."
"Honestly, I loved it. I didn't mind it. Especially because they weren't talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful," Selena said, responding to how she felt about being romantically linked with Cara. "Honestly, though, she's incredible and very open and she just makes me open. She's so fun and she's just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life, so I didn't mind it. I loved it."
Yassss, Selena! Turns out it is possible to love her even more than we already do!
