SameLove

Okay, so it's caused some controversey among LGBT fans, but we still get super emotional when Mary Lambert sings "My love, my love, my love, she keeps me warm" in the chorus of Macklemore's 2012 hit single Same Love, released on his album The Heist. Following the song's release (and in the lyrics of the song itself) he rapper wasted no time in making it clear that he's both pro-LGBT and definitely not gay himself. Regardless of the debate it has caused, Same Love was an anthem of marriage equality and a chart-topping hit, and certainly did its part to bring the LGBT fight to straight listeners who had never thought about it.
