The RuPaul's Drag Race season nine queens got together for a new collaboration that is a touching tribute to the late, great singer George Michael and his classic hit "Too Funky."
Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Peppermint, and singer Ari Gold lead the vocals on the entire track, while Cynthia opens the video with the alluring "Would you like me to seduce you?" line in Spanish.
With the fresh take on the song, we get some incredible runway looks from Shea Couleé, Valentina, Kimora Blac, Trinity Taylor, Eureka, Farrah Moan, Jaymes Mansfield, Aja, Peppermint, Sasha Velour, Alexis Michelle, and Charlie Hides.
"George Michael remained a chart-topping artist and an absolute inspiration to me and many queer people during a time when being openly gay was a career killer," said Peppermint in an interview with Billboard. "We really wanted the chance to pay proper tribute to George Michael. Though the original "Too Funky" video can never be replaced, I always wanted to live out my fantasy of being one of the supermodels he had on the runway and now I get a chance to share this moment with my season nine RuPaul's Drag Race sisters."
