RuPaul is taking over the world one Drag Race spinoff at a time, and we are living!

This has been a huge week in Drag Race news: Not only has the cast of season 15 dropped, but it has found a new home on MTV. That’s not all, though, as the franchise is continuing its global expansion with new series in Europe and the Americas.

Here’s all the tea:

RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is returning for season three next year on VH1. Once again, celebrities who’ve undergone the ultimate drag transformation will compete in a lip sync showdown based around a category as they vie for the title of “America’s Next Celeb Drag Superstar” and, of course, a cash prize of $100,000 dollars — awarded to the charity of their choice. “We are big fans of the Drag Race franchise and thrilled to bring back RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race for another season on VH1,” said Scott Mills, President/CEO, BET Media Group in a press release.

And as we mentioned at the outset, Drag Race is going international again with three, yes three, new territories: Germany, Brazil, and Mexico! “Drag Race is about universal themes of love, self-expression, and acceptance — and there has never been a more important time than now for these ideas to be expressed internationally,” Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, CEOs of World of Wonder, shared in a press release. “Thanks to Chris McCarthy, Nina L. Diaz, and their incredible team at MTV Entertainment Studios, we are honored to continue our mission to showcase the artistry of drag in different languages and cultures around the world.”

Finally, a new addition to the All Stars series is on the way, Global All Stars, which will feature fan favorites from all around the world competing for a worldwide title. It will stream exclusively on Paramount+.

No word yet on casting or release dates for the new shows past Season 15, but one thing is certain: RuPaul knows how to keep the children fed — and we are loving it.
