RuPaul Chokes Up During a Psychic Reading on Hollywood Medium

In an upcoming episode of Hollywood Medium, Tyler Henry sits down with drag icon RuPaul for a psychic reading and unearths intimate details from the superstar's life.

Henry senses that the supermodel of the world has a performance ritual dedicated to his mother and Mama Ru quickly gets emotional.

"When I performed for her when I was a kid, I could do anything in the living room," Ru tearfully explained. "No matter how terrible I was, it was always great. So what I do is, whenever I go onstage I think 'This is Mama's living room, so whatever you do is fine.'"

Say what you will about the craft, but the medium does pull a lot of information out of Ru about his private life. RuPaul also opened up about his idolization of Diana Ross, his faith in psychics, and his mother's belief in her son's dreams.

"She'd gone to see a psychic before I was born, and the psychic said 'He's a boy and he's gonna be famous.'"
