22 Times Leslie Jones Perfectly Captured All Our Olympics Feelings

Slay all day! USA!

Comedian Leslie Jones of Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters fame has been perfectly capturing all of our feelings about the 2016 Rio Olympics. She started covering the Olympics from her living room on Twitter, but her enthusiasm and joy were so infectious that NBC invited her to join their team in Rio to cover the games. While official announcers tend to drone on about technicalities, Jones watches the Olympics just like we do—by cheering on Team USA and pointing out just how amazing all the incredible feats of strength and endurance really are.

Here are 22 of the best moments from Leslie’s Olympic coverage:

1) When she picked out the most perfect Olympic watching outfit ever.

2) This impromptu chant after Ginny Thrasher won the first gold medal of the games for Team USA.

3) When she points out just how intimidating these athletes really are.

4) And sums up all of our thoughts about our own athletic prowess while watching the games.

5) This amazing dad joke.

6) She’s not afraid to ask the important questions.

7) She’s distracted by all the same things we are.

8) When she critiques announcers for their lack of enthusiasm.

9) She fangirls over the ultimate warrior, Kerri Walsh Jennings.

10) She does exactly what we should always do when Serena enters any room.

11) She comes up with the best way to cheer on bikers of all time.

12) She says what we’re all thinking about snide announcers.

13) Leslie Jones would probably be the best coach ever.

14) When she imagines what’s coming through Phelps’s headphones.

15) She totally empathizes with the parents in the audience.

16) When she appreciates this hot plane dude on her way to Rio.

17) When she lands and can’t contain her excitement.

18) When she shows off her own gymnastic abilities.

19) She sees history being made and is appropriately excited.

20) She meets beach volleyball warriors April Ross and Kerri Walsh Jennings, and is totally starstruck.

21) When Michelle Carter gets her gold medal and Leslie is all of us.

22) She’s as fed up with the Gabby haters as we are.
